Special Note

Coppersafe solution may cause an adverse reaction with some sensitive invertebrates. Invertebrates without an exoskeleton such as jellyfish, anemones, etc. should be removed before treatment. Coppersafe solution may be harmful to plants, amphibians and snails. Not recommended for use in Reef aquariums. Do not use Coppersafe solution with fish species that have a known sensitivity to copper. Coppersafe solution remains active for over one month in the aquarium. It is a safe, stable, non-staining concentrate that does not color aquarium water. Be sure to add Coppersafe solution to replacement water when water changes are made. This will maintain the therapeutic level of Coppersafe solution. Because Coppersafe solution is so stable in water, partial water changes are the quickest way to remove it from the water.

just not what expected…

Had a bad ick outbreak in 3 different tanks and it only seemed to spread to my bottom dwellers. I lost 2 clown loach’s, but my Featherfin catfish and pleco survived. I had nothing on hand for ich and it spread so fast that I order this along with many others from chewy. I tried this first in a quarantine tank combined with aquarium salt and a temp of 86 degrees and nothing happed. After losing my clown loaches I knew I had to try something else so I dropped the fritz coppersafe and went to tetra ick guard and topfin ick remedy and both outperformed the coppersafe and the results were pretty quick. Treating with coppersafe for a whole week did nothing but stress my fish out I think. The cheap tablets in tetra ick guard combined with the salt and water temp cleared all the ick in 1-2 days fast. I would not recommend this product for treating ich.
