The term "human grade" in pet food means the finished product is legally suitable and approved as nourishment for humans. It is much more rigorously regulated than foods normally made for animals. The term "food grade" is an adjective that means the material or product at hand is either fit for human or animal consumption, or, more commonly, is at least permitted to come into contact with food like a plastic food storage container.

We give our two puppy babies only Full Moon products because of their quality ingredients, and (so they have told me) their great taste. They love them all (beef, chicken, and duck sticks), but they especially look forward to these Chicken Jerky treats, which they get as their evening treat. I like that they require some chewing so I know that they are getting to enjoy the chicken flavor. I make the food that they eat, so I really love that these treats are made of human-grade ingredients. In my opinion, I am giving my babies top quality treats that they truly enjoy.

Kind of tough.

These aren’t as soft as the “Blue” brand so our Boston Terrier doesn’t care for these but our shorthair pointer likes them so I’d recommend for bigger dogs!
