I stood at the counter with the open bag of Full Moon Beef Jerky Tenders, tearing each jerky stick into bite sized treats and putting them back in the bag. My dogs sat quietly at attention next to me more focused than they should be. Waiting for any command to follow and earn a bite. Paw - boom! Sit up - boom! They were ready and just obsessed with these natural treats. Love it!

I don’t know what these are made of. They are not good. First time I’ve ever seen my dog turn her nose up to a jerky product.

Lovely treats, but contain salt.

All our dogs love these treats, but our oldest pup started having pee accidents in the house. Blood work is normal, but his urine is not concentrated. Our vet asked

All our dogs love these treats, but our oldest pup started having pee accidents in the house. Blood work is normal, but his urine is not concentrated. Our vet asked if we are giving him people food, since it usually contains salt. We do not give our dogs people food, but apparently our favorite treats contain salt. I called customer service and they told me that salt constitutes about 1 to 6 percent in each package. Sorry, Full Moon, we are now looking for new favorite treats.

I recently purchased the 24 oz bag of Full Moon Natural Essentials Jerky Tenders Beef Recipe for my 2 year old Havanese and my 7 year old senior goldendoodle. I appreciate that this treat uses US-raised, human-grade beef and avoids fillers like corn, wheat and soy. My pups absolutely went wild for the first taste big win. Because my Havanese is a small dog, I break each piece into several mini bits, which helps manage calories. As a quality value treat it’s solid. One caveat the pieces are large so not ideal in full size for small breeds. All told, if you’re willing to use this as a premium reward and keep portion control in mind, it’s a strong choice.
