This habitat was a little shorter than expected BUT this turned out so unexpectedly great for our students!! When the old enclosure rested on our counter, he was harder to see. With this depth of allowable substrate and leg height, Buckwheat is at eye level for all our different classes. He’s now the star. Assembly was easy and solid enough. Color theme matched the classroom well. Nothing arrived broken. Great experience all around.

Not the best quality, but not the worst. It’s okayish for the price however. When putting together, some of the wood split/cracked screwing pieces together, thankfully it was underneath so it’s not noticeable damage. It also doesn’t line up the best, so be prepared to silicone gaps around the tray so substrate/bedding can’t fall out onto the floor. Otherwise it was easy to put together, despite the instructions not being very detailed and is pretty sturdy.
