What size is suitable for a larger cat, 15 pounds?

We recommend measuring your pet to find the perfect bed size. Pets who curl up to sleep can fit on a smaller bed, while pets who stretch out need a larger bed. To determine the ideal bed length, measure your pet in his or her normal sleeping position, then add 4-6 inches for cats and small dogs, or 8-12 inches for medium to large dogs. When in doubt, we suggest ordering the bigger size. The Small mat measures 23.5 x 20 inches and the Large measures 35.5 x 30 inches (length x width).

Is the entire thing machine washable, or just the outside?

The entire bed is machine washable on delicate cycle; cold. Do not bleach. Hang dry; air fluff.

This low VOC foam has been CertiPUR-US certified and is manufactured without ozone depleters, flame retardants, formaldehyde, regulated phthalates, mercury, lead and other heavy metals. American labor is used to manufacture, cut, shape, and insert the foam filling into the bed covers and also to tag, pack and ship FurHaven beds.The bed covers only have a country-of-origin China designation. Our bed covers have been designed, inspected, and warehoused in the USA by American workers.
