can the pillow inside be washed?

The cover is machine washable and the foam can be hand washed. To wash the cover, remove the foam core and zip the bed close. Shake off any loose debris from cover before washing. You can hand or machine wash separately using cold water. Do not bleach. Set it to line dry or tumble dry on low. The foam can be spot cleaned with mild soap as needed. Press excess water from the mat, don't wring the foam, lay it out to air dry. Do not machine wash foam.

Will my Great Pyrenees fit??

We recommend measuring your pet in their natural sleeping position to find the perfect bed size. Pets who curl up to sleep can fit on a smaller bed, while pets who stretch out need a larger bed. To determine the ideal bed length, measure your pet in his or her normal sleeping position, then add 4-6 inches for cats and small dogs, or 8-12 inches for medium to large dogs. When in doubt, we suggest ordering the bigger size. Decent Bed

I have had this bed for just over 2 years and it has held up well through weekly washings (cover only). I foster dogs and usually have 4-5 beds spread throughout

I have had this bed for just over 2 years and it has held up well through weekly washings (cover only). I foster dogs and usually have 4-5 beds spread throughout the house. This one has eggshell cushion in the middle which works fine for most of the dogs. For the seniors I prefer a solid orthopedic cushion. The cushion has yellowed a little bit but overall has held up pretty well, though it is only sees daytime use. A heavier dog using it every night might have flattened it a bit more over the years, I think. For scale, I purchased a jumbo size and the black dog in the picture is 80 pounds and can easily stretch out on it, and the tan dog is 50 pounds and it could probably fit two medium-sized dogs comfortably.

I started to take it apart to wash the cover

The zipper broke off not even 1/4 of the way to unzip. I managed to get the cushions out & got the cover in the wash and hope I can reattach the zipper. However

Great bad for price!

Love the pattern! Wish it was waterproof. When doggo drools all over a bone, it can soak into the foam inside and get smelly. Appreciate that the cover is washable
