FurHaven Two-Tone Deluxe Chaise Orthopedic Dog Bed with Removable Cover, Stone Gray, Medium

We have three dogs all in the 80 lb range - a german shepherd and 2 standard aussies and a total of 6 dog beds in the house. With 3 large dogs, replacing dog beds is quite the expense on a fixed income, so we try to replace them 3 at a time and wait until Chewy has a holiday sale. We chose the Furhaven brand because the 3 Furhaven quited top beds we currently use have held up well for several years. Two of the beds arrived quickly, thanks to Chewy's always good shipping, but the third bed was delayed. No biggie, out of stocks happen. The third bed arrived today. They sent the wrong cover. The beds we ordered have two bolsters, but the cover is for a 3 bolster bed. Right main mattress, right bolster, wrong cover, leaving the bed looking lopsided. I took two thin throw blankets folded in half and rolled them to about the size of a *typical* bolster to fill the empty space on the one side. Now for the beds themselves. Another disappointment. While the mattress itself recovers its loft quickly, in a few hours, once you remove it from the vacuum sealed package, the bolster never recovers. It's thin to start with. The vacuum sealing of it in the same plastic that the main bed is sealed in finishes it off. Maybe it needs more stuffing, maybe packaged for shipping separate from the larger mattress, I don't know. Having said all that, my baby girl is very happy with a new bed of her very own. We just adopted her not too long ago and she's been sleeping on a hand-me-down bed. The jumbo size is just perfect for a german shepherd that weighs 83 lbs. Good looking bed. Perfect color to match our rug. Nice thick mattress that holds up under the weight of a big dog, but we are not likely to buy the Furhaven brand again due to the bolster issue.
