Is this bed treated with flame retardants?

For optimum pet health, FurHaven™ uses low VOC, CertiPUR-US® certified foam. This domestic foam is made without PDBEs, TDCPP or TCEP (“Tris”) flame retardants, mercury, lead, and other heavy metals. This foam is manufactured without formaldehyde, ozone depleters, and phthalates regulated by the CPSC. The foam is manufactured in the U.S.A. and has been rigorously tested to ensure it meets standards for content, emissions, and durability, and was analyzed by independent, accredited testing laboratories.

What are the interior dimensions?

The medium has overall dimensions of 30" x 20" x 6.5" with sleep surface dimensions of 23" x 16.5" x 3". The large has overall dimensions of 36" x 27" x 6.5" with sleep surface dimensions of 28" x 23" x 3". The jumbo has overall dimensions of 40" x 32" x 8" with sleep surface dimensions of 30" x 27" x 4". The jumbo-plus has overall dimensions of 53" x 40" x 9.5" with sleep surface dimensions of 41" x 34" x 5".

Where made?

My 4 month old puppy had an accident on this bed that I had originally intended for my 3 year old golden. Could you send me the name of the foam insert and where to purchase more?

Best bed even for picky dogs

My bully recently got diagnosed with arthritis and someone recommended a orthopedic bed, I was very nervous because usually whenever I bring home a new bed he refuses to use it for a while but man we put this thing together and he immediately laid on it and usually we have to fight him over our bed but he doesn’t even really care about our bed anymore he LOVES his new bed I will say I struggled putting it together so I had my fiance do it but it is totally worth it!!!

Sad but True

I was excited to get him a new bed and well our dog is large full size 5 year old 90lb Rottweiler and he refuses to sleep on this bed I thought after a couple weeks

I was excited to get him a new bed and well our dog is large full size 5 year old 90lb Rottweiler and he refuses to sleep on this bed I thought after a couple weeks that he would give in and use it and he absolutely refuses to lay down on it he will walk up and sniff it and do the little circle motion like he will lay down and walks off it and lays on the hard floor - it wasn't a cheap bed and it felt ok as far as quality goes its kind of cheap feeling tho and if he goes to grab it and throw it around like the last one it won't last long but I am not returning it that's too much trouble with mail etc. I will give it to the cats - it looks good he just doesn't like the smell or something maybe to synthetic?

Soft & Plush

We got the jumbo size for my 8 year old Aussie-Mix, Phantom, who is around 90 pounds. He loves it! He usually "nests" with his claws but he hasn't ripped the cover

We got the jumbo size for my 8 year old Aussie-Mix, Phantom, who is around 90 pounds. He loves it! He usually "nests" with his claws but he hasn't ripped the cover at all. He likes to rest his head on the edge but still has room to sprawl out too. Unfortunately my cat got jealous and peed on it Christmas Day (lol) but the cover did great in the washer. The foam inside was much more of a project to wash since it absorbs liquids like CRAZY so I had to put it in the bathtub and then press the water out with towels, & air-dry it for over 24 hours. Regardless - It washed very nicely and is good as new, no stains or evidence! Just a heads up if you have accident prone pets, it may be worth it to place a puppy pad between the foam and the cover before you zip it up. Overall I highly recommend this bed!

We specifically looked for an affordable bed with a removable, washable shell. Five stars on that front. The cushion were shrunk-sealed for shipping (all the air was pulled out and the cushions were flattened). Unfortunately a portion of the bottom cushion never recovered. There is a foot square on one side of the bed that is flat to the floor. We’ve had the bed for a couple months and it’s just flat there. Our spaniel goes through periods where he is convinced that if he just scratches it enough it will fluff up. Other than that, it’s a great bed. We will be buying some replacement foam for our pups birthday.

The internal pieces are separated, it's not a singular foam piece inside and it's a PAIN to assemble. I feel ripped off by the high ratings, as this is often what I rely on when ordering products. I've been fighting with this thing for 30 min and the "snake" like piece inside doesn't align like the picture and just moves around. Honestly, I'm so annoyed with this, I'll donate it and get something else. This is ridiculous.

Put my couch down, flip it, and reverse it

We bought this for our two cats, Matilda and Solaire. They are notoriously picky - she likes soft and warm things while he prefers to sleep on cardboard scratchers. We put this bed out and neither would deign to acknowledge it for weeks. After a month, we joked that we should try flipping it upside down and then they would definitely sleep in it. Joke’s on us: that’s exactly what happened. Now they battle for it and we are endlessly entertained! 10/10, definitely recommend.

I had this same bed before and was hoping for a second cover to change out when washing. Sadly, they are hard to find anymore. My dogs like to make themselves comfortable by digging in them a bit before laying down which ends up ruining the fur. They do like the bed though! The last one lasted a while, but we will see about this one with the material that it has now.
