very surprised upon receipt of product that it indicates product is NOT washable but spot clean only. online it says handwash. how is it useful for a dog bed mattress liner if not washable? Disposable liner?

Does the liner go on the foam and under the removable cover or over the entire bed?

I have a Great Pyrenees senior dog who has little bathroom-type accidents sometimes when he is sleeping (or getting up off his gigantic doggie sofa bed). This liquid-resistant liner makes it so that I can wash the cover without a lingering stinkyness to the foam bed insert. Bonus - the bed cover zips on easier with the sleek liner on the mattress!

My Husky loves the bed, but sometimes has accidents while he is sleeping. This waterproof cover does exactly as it is intended to do however it is really loud because of the plastic nature of it. Because of the noise it makes when he shifts to get comfortable, he prefers laying on the other version of the bed without the cover.

Great bed protection

I used it to put the filling inside it. That way when a dog has an accident on it the filling doesn’t get ruined.

Zipper busted

I just got this today and put it on my dog bed. This was put on the proper size bed. As I was zipping it up, not even struggling, the zipper came off on one side

Crunchy/bulky

Some water-resistant liners are unnoticeable. This one is not soft, and it is crunchy- so my dog was not going onto his bed. It is less expensive and now i see

Some water-resistant liners are unnoticeable. This one is not soft, and it is crunchy- so my dog was not going onto his bed. It is less expensive and now i see why. I am trying to return it but I can't find how to do so on the website. I know Chewy responds, so I will speak to a rep soon.

This is noisy, my dog won’t use it.

I am now using waterproof and washable blankets that Chewy sells which work better at keeping her cozy and protecting her bed from nightly incontinence.

Love this to keep bed clean

My dog is a fearless GSD... so, the noise doesn't phase him. It's a crinkle sound. I dont allow him on it with bed cover not on it. It works to keep bed clean.
