It worked!
I have an old cat who has not adjusted well to our new living situation and has expressed his distaste via urination on my bed. I was looking for a solution that would save me from having to wash my bedsheets everyday. This blanket worked!! He has peed on it twice and I was able to wipe up the puddle with a paper towel! Nothing soaked through to the next layer. I febreeze it after each episode and will wash regularly. It's relatively warm if you're into that kind of thing but I just use it to protect my bedding. All aces from me!
Not as sturdy as I hoped
I've had the FurHaven Waterproof Cat & Dog Blanket Protector just short of a month, and already there is a rip. Probably he caught it with his nails. It does stay in place relatively well, and does cover the whole twin bed. But if your dog will be jumping on and off it may not hold up well enough for you.
Waterproof!
I ordered a second of this blanket because the first worked so well! I have a 20 yr old cat. Between UTI's causing her to urinate on the couch, hemorrhoids causing her to temporarily drip occasional blood spots from her rear, and difficulty making it to the litter box in time, this BLANKET HAS SAVED OUR COUCH AND OUR SANITY! You just throw it in the washer with some detergent and oxyclean, let it line dry, and you're good to go. I will say that due to it being waterproof, a lot of water rolls and drips off when you pull it out of the washer. Let it dry on a line or rack in your bathtub or a waterproof basement with a drain.

Bought this to protect my new bed/bedding from my three dogs and their incessant licking. Has been put to the test multiple times now - my roommate's foster dog has peed on it twice, and one of mine threw up on it. Nothing made it past the blanket! So worth the money. Only gripe is that I bought the largest size and it's still not as big as I would like - it covers the top of my king bed but doesn't really come around the sides.

Worth every penny! Cat peed on it and not only did the pee simply bead up on the surface and easily wipe away, but no smell lingered!!
Perfect Bed Protector!!!
I needed a cover for the spare bed that my two huskies love to sleep on. They get wet dirty paws and shed so much that my bed will now stay clean for when guests need to sleep over. I ordered the jumbo for a queen bed in Nile blue so that it would cover the pillows. I am getting another one for the other bedroom in brownstone. In other reviews someone mentioned the smell…I am very sensitive to smells and this does not have an overpowering odor. (Gunner photo bombed the photo)

The size was large enough to cover the bottom of my queen bed. Enough extra fabric to make several pads for chairs. Washes nicely and fast air dry. Good nutural color.
