Best bed protector ever!
I received this a few weeks ago and it has been perfect. About half an hour after placing it on my king size bed, my son's 35 lb puppy peed on it. I didn't notice it when I closed the door and left the room. The 5 month old puppy just jumped up on it and then off. She does have an excitable bladder and the pee just comes out when she is happy. A couple hours later I opened the door and started pulling the cover over so I could get into bed. Huge operator error--I didn't notice the pee until I started pulling the cover--it just ran off the cover and onto the bed! My mistake. The cover really does work very well. She peed one more time on it and I caught it right after and was able to clean it up. Both times, it never went through the cover to the bed. I am extremely pleased with it.

I have now bought one of these in each size to go over each bed & a futon. Our black German Shepherd thinks he "owns" the beds, and our black cat loves the futon. I use a chom-chom on the protectors and the fur comes right off. The chom-chom worked on the quilts on each bed too, but the fur was more imbedded in the material of the quilts. These protectors seem to sort of repel the fur, it doesn't get lodged into the material as much. I also take the protectors outside and shake them once a week and the fur also comes off easier when I do that. The covers look nice and - so far - work beautifully! I have not tried washing them yet.
new puppy = piddling
This thing is amazing. Our puppy is still very young so the vet said he’s just having issues regulating his bladder some and that he will grow out of it. He has had accidents in our bed and we are working on crate training him but this is a total game changer. Two accidents and this comforter saved what would’ve been another bedding wash. It’s lightweight. Durable and the blue is very pretty
Doesn't feel like a waterproof blanket
I was pleasantly surprised that this blanket isn't fully plastic lined on the bottom. After washing, it's fairly soft. The little paw stickies on the bottom are kind of funny. I have it on the bed so we don't need them but they do help stick it to leather. The blanket is quite thin so it doesn't do much as an actual bed blanket but it's a good top layer to keep the kittens from tracking stuff over the bed. The small is fairly small and doesn't cover a full bed but it may cover a twin bed (without hanging over).
Not Waterproof
I think it initially did a little to prevent cat pee seep through, but now it might as well just be any other blanket. It has never been through the dryer and has only been washed with cold water. Pretty disappointed. It would have been better if I just hadn’t bought anything; now all my bedding and nice new mattress smell like pee.
Loved it so much we bought a second one
This blanket is the best waterproof one out there. It does not have an overly plastic bottom so it is still comfortable to sit on. Our puppy had an accident on the couch during an overexciting event - and this blanket did it’s job!! No issues for our couch. We loved it so much we bought a second for our arm chair, just in case!
Very effective
I got a few if these to cover the couches and bed to protect them from my older incontinent cat. They have worked well. The barrier they provide is very good from the urine getting through. As an added bonus, they also keep the cat hair out off the couch and bed. They are easy to clean as well.
Does the job
This blanket seems good quality. I like the backing that helps keep it from sliding all over. The 2 downfalls are it’s very stinky coming out of the package and crinkly so it’s taking some getting used to for my dogs. But overall pretty good!
Holes after 2 washes
I purchased two of these to cover my couches where my dogs sleep. Disappointed that after two washes both of them are developing holes in the fabric around the stitching. Definitely not worth the cost.
Does the job, but the smell! Woof!
I figured it needed time to off gas so I spread it out when I first got it to air it out some, but that did nothing, and then I washed it three times and this thing still REEKS. It's awful. I am really hoping several more washes will help. I'd give it more starts for working but the stench ruins it for me. May find another option elsewhere. Can't return now that I washed it I'm sure.
