Waterproof!
I ordered a second of this blanket because the first worked so well! I have a 20 yr old cat. Between UTI's causing her to urinate on the couch, hemorrhoids causing her to temporarily drip occasional blood spots from her rear, and difficulty making it to the litter box in time, this BLANKET HAS SAVED OUR COUCH AND OUR SANITY! You just throw it in the washer with some detergent and oxyclean, let it line dry, and you're good to go. I will say that due to it being waterproof, a lot of water rolls and drips off when you pull it out of the washer. Let it dry on a line or rack in your bathtub or a waterproof basement with a drain.

Bought this to protect my new bed/bedding from my three dogs and their incessant licking. Has been put to the test multiple times now - my roommate's foster dog has peed on it twice, and one of mine threw up on it. Nothing made it past the blanket! So worth the money. Only gripe is that I bought the largest size and it's still not as big as I would like - it covers the top of my king bed but doesn't really come around the sides.
Perfect Bed Protector!!!
I needed a cover for the spare bed that my two huskies love to sleep on. They get wet dirty paws and shed so much that my bed will now stay clean for when guests need to sleep over. I ordered the jumbo for a queen bed in Nile blue so that it would cover the pillows. I am getting another one for the other bedroom in brownstone. In other reviews someone mentioned the smell…I am very sensitive to smells and this does not have an overpowering odor. (Gunner photo bombed the photo)

Does what it says
We have a kitten who is ...working on not peeing in our bed. This has saved at least 5 trips to the dry cleaner. Paid for itself immediately.
Leaks! Not waterproof.
Started using this about six months ago. It is not waterproof. It works the same as any sort of thick blanket for absorption.
Best bed protector ever!
I received this a few weeks ago and it has been perfect. About half an hour after placing it on my king size bed, my son's 35 lb puppy peed on it. I didn't notice it when I closed the door and left the room. The 5 month old puppy just jumped up on it and then off. She does have an excitable bladder and the pee just comes out when she is happy. A couple hours later I opened the door and started pulling the cover over so I could get into bed. Huge operator error--I didn't notice the pee until I started pulling the cover--it just ran off the cover and onto the bed! My mistake. The cover really does work very well. She peed one more time on it and I caught it right after and was able to clean it up. Both times, it never went through the cover to the bed. I am extremely pleased with it.

I have now bought one of these in each size to go over each bed & a futon. Our black German Shepherd thinks he "owns" the beds, and our black cat loves the futon. I use a chom-chom on the protectors and the fur comes right off. The chom-chom worked on the quilts on each bed too, but the fur was more imbedded in the material of the quilts. These protectors seem to sort of repel the fur, it doesn't get lodged into the material as much. I also take the protectors outside and shake them once a week and the fur also comes off easier when I do that. The covers look nice and - so far - work beautifully! I have not tried washing them yet.
Couch cover
This cover is waterproof. It does move on the couch. I wish it were a little longer. Perhaps 80 x 90.
