I bought this for grooming my Frenchie & thought it would be perfect for his short coat. The nubby surface is covered with rigid plastic bumps that don’t really grab the loose hair. I found the strap on the device to be a bit tight and my hands are small. Wouldn’t recommend & will be looking for a curry brush that is more rubbery and fits in my hand better.

I originally bought this brush for my partner’s French bulldog. He hates being brushed, but tolerated this for a bit longer, and it did some good. HOWEVER. This brush provided me with nearly two new cats off of just one! My senior cat has never loved being brushed more. Three days in a row, she’s waited by the door for me (unusual) to bring me (unusual) to the brush (unusual), and she’ll sit for brushing as long as I am willing to keep going! She generally spends her time waiting/sleeping on her favorite dining chair, but I’ve gotten unbelievable amounts of hair from her in the week or so that I’ve had this. She’s scratching and shedding far less. It’s wonderful to see! Even my stinker cat who haaates being brushed will tolerate it, to remarkable results. Cant recommend highly enough.

So disappointed!

I bought this for my two new rescue pups. I have an original Furminator that I love and use on my Jindo with great success. This curry brush style feels like a toy

I bought this for my two new rescue pups. I have an original Furminator that I love and use on my Jindo with great success. This curry brush style feels like a toy. I have a small hand and I cant keep a grip on it, it's so little. The nubs are hard, as is the whole housing, and they have no give, no resistance on the coat, and don't collect any, or very little, hair when used. Weirdest contraption ever. Returning it. There should be an option for 0 stars.

Best ever for top coat!!

We've had dogs for Many years. Have tried too many top coat brushes to even try to count. This one is absolutely wonderful- especially when coupled with Furminator

I bought this curry comb for my husky and shepherd dogs to remove loose hair inside my home between using the Furminator outside. It works fine, as stated. Their hair is probably too long and thick for it to be the only way to remove loose hair. But I also tried it on my upholstery, and it works great! It takes up hair that vacuuming doesn't. My only complaint is that the brush is much smaller than I thought. it is about the size of a computer mouse, so kind of uncomfortable in my hand. It only comes in one size. But, I still recommend it and I would buy again. Now I need to try it on my cats.
