I received my bottle of FURminator's DeShedding Shampoo, and was immediately impressed with the soft plastic squeeze bottle. While it can stand up like a bottle, it also can be squeezed down to the veruy last drop. Haven't seen anything like this before... and I love the design. There clearly won't be any wasted product here. My 13 year old, adopted, terrier mix sheds all day every day. He's got a medium coat length on his back, neck, tail... and short everywhere else. On any given day I can pet him (gently OR vigorously), and hair flies everywhere. When I brush him or comb him, I get a whole lot of outer coat hair... always. So, I plopped him in the kitchen sink the day this shampoo arrived and lathered him up. The product's scent is pleasant but not overpowering. The lathering was more than sufficient. And during his bath, alot of hair was shed. But the best part the past 10 days after his bath. I barely get any hair when I brush him and pet him. And what hair I do get seems to be the softer lighter colored undercoat. His hair is still glistening now a week later. And his coat feels softer.

I have two heavy-shedding dogs and they need little grooming but regular brushing and deshedding. This shampoo, when you follow the directions, really works well to lift their undercoat and even my sensitive skinned pup doesn’t get irritated by it! The top of the container was a little fussy, but the product itself is excellent.

Very interesting container/bottle - its a soft plastic, not hard. No lid, but the top has a type of seal - squeeze to dispense the soap and it wont leak when tipped over. Very mild scent, not overpowering.
