I use Furminator shampoo in between grooming visits. The very light scent is pleasant and probably not too overwhelming for my dog. Here's how I use it: I dampen a washrag and then spray the shampoo on it. Even though it claims to be a "pump bottle," it sure makes a loud sound like an aerosol. Spraying it on a washrag, away from my dog, keeps her from reacting. The washrag really helps pick up the dirt and oils, leaving her coat very soft and fluffy.

Smells Really Fresh

This is really helpful for a quick coat refresh or particularly when the dogs come inside with a wet dog or outside smell. Just spray all over and their coat smells

It's nice big bursts of spray as well. I don't even feel the need to rub it in, but you could brush it throughout their coat as well.

Great to use if pet has a skunk encounter. Dry shampoo much better than a wet shampoo on this incident. We also use on our senior dogs.
