Has anyone noticed black spots developing anywhere on the item? I had mine sitting in dirt bedding that I mist once a day to every other day. When I was cleaning the enclosure I noticed some black spots on the bottle rim of the dome. when I scraped it with my nail, spot almost disintegrated. Mold?

The entrances are approximately 2-3 inches for each size.

How is it that 6in says 6.5×6.5×5 and the 9in says 6×6×5??

The 6-inch Dome measures 6 inches long x 6 inches wide x 5 inches tall and the 9-inch Dome measures 9 inches long x 9 inches wide x 7 inches tall.

NOT SAFE FOR TORTOISES

If you have a tortoise or any kind of reptile do NOT buy this product!!! I purchased it for my tortoise and caught it trying to eat the moss on the side of the enclosure

If you have a tortoise or any kind of reptile do NOT buy this product!!! I purchased it for my tortoise and caught it trying to eat the moss on the side of the enclosure. I immediately took it out and went online where chewy.com FAQs said that the moss was real, and that although they shouldn't eat it it is not harmful. Well, after a $500 veterinary visit for a prolapsed organ in his digestive system, I can now say that is a complete lie. The vet told me the moss is fake. Maybe a warning on this product or a confirmation whether this is real or fake moss would be helpful and stop other pet owners from making the same mistake in trusting this company that I did. Shame on you for selling something dangerous to reptiles!!!

I honestly thought it would be a lot less flaky. The slightest touch drops piles of moss everywhere, and the artificial dyes to make it such a vibrant green used are definitely harmful if ingested. So for me and my guy, it is a no. I will just stick with the plastic hut until we can find something more suitable for his habitat. Hopefully it works better for others.
