This terrarium moss is ideal substrate for geckos, frogs, newts, chameleons, snakes, invertebrates, and similar species and to create a high humidity. It is not intended for small animals, such as hamsters.

The Pillow Moss is suitable to hold higher humidity in a bioactive enclosure. Other suitable mosses would be Golden Sphagnum Moss, Green Sphagnum Moss, Royal Pillow Moss, and Sheet Moss.
