This terrarium moss is ideal substrate for geckos, frogs, newts, chameleons, snakes, invertebrates, and similar species and to create a high humidity. It is not intended for small animals, such as hamsters.

The Pillow Moss is suitable to hold higher humidity in a bioactive enclosure. Other suitable mosses would be Golden Sphagnum Moss, Green Sphagnum Moss, Royal Pillow Moss, and Sheet Moss.

Ugh. Last time I bought this brand, I got sheet moss. I assume. Flat and sheet-like, but the bag doesn’t specify. I swear I hunted for specific moss names when I ordered, couldn’t find them, gave up, and ordered the one with the same image on the front. Someone mixed up the product photos. The bag with the snake has pillow moss. The one with the frog has the sheet moss. Sigh. Now I have two bags of the wrong moss.

Not a lot of moisture

Didn’t hold moisture that well for me personally and would dry up quick after spraying it in a closed hide, but looks and holds up great if you want a moss look

I ordered this for my tarantula, which the product said it can be used for. I have it in a small acrylic rectangular box with ventilation holes and a clay based

I ordered this for my tarantula, which the product said it can be used for. I have it in a small acrylic rectangular box with ventilation holes and a clay based substrate. I put a roughly 1.5-2 inch piece of it in the corner that I briefly ran under the faucet and squeezed some excess water out of. This moss molded within a few days, and I only put water on it one time. I’m hoping I can get a refund.

Got for my ball python and it’s brought the humidity up I highly recommend chewy has good delivery time so you’ll get it fast and it’s pretty cheap
