High absorbency to help control tropical and wetland humidity.
Bought this to help better maintain our ball pythons humidity. I just add a few handfuls to his regular substrate and it's done wonders to keep his humidity up. Been using it for a few months now and have had no issues or complaints.
Not sphagnum moss

This is your standard forest moss, which holds humidity, but is not what I was looking for with sphagnum moss, which I use to mix into my substrate.

Doesn't hold moisture like I had hoped it would. Dries out kind of quick. It does add nice color to my blue tongue skink's terrarium. I will try another kind of moss next.
Holds moisture and very natural

This is great for any reptile or amphibian that needs a moist environment. I use this for my tree frogs enclosure. I place it around there water dishes so it captures any water that falls out. This way they can still absorb it
My leo likes it.

My leopard gecko seems to really like it, he likes to go hide in it more than his other hides. It holds moisture pretty well, and so far I haven't had a problem!
