how big is this and can it fit a crested gecko? I'm buying one but need the perfect supplies, thanks.

This may be used for a crested gecko. The cave measures 7.5 x 6.25 x 5.5 inches. The opening is approximately 2.5 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep. It is mostly open in the back and cannot be used sitting on the bottom of tank without securing it to the glass.

Does the top come off of this? It kind of looks like it could be?

The top does come off of this cave so it may be cleaned inside or you can have access to your pet.

Will this stick to the walls of a pvc enclosure?

I love the concept of this cave. Our gecko is obsessed with his coconut hide, but he never comes out to the point that it makes us nervous, especially since he's 17 at the youngest, possibly 20. So I love the idea of being able to peek in the hide to make sure he's okay. Unfortunately so far he hasn't explored it much yet except lie on top of it. But hopefully over time he'll get in!

My geckos love this. I bought multiple as I have several geckos. And every gecko enjoys this hide. They sleep in them and climb on them. It is super cute. My only problem is the suction cup is on the bottom so I have to squeeze my hand under it as leopard geckos can't have anything very high up. (They're clumsy)

It is definitely bigger than I expected and since the photos failed to show proper measurements I showed them in some of my photos. I used this cave for my 2 year old corn snake who’s about 31” long and has a 36x18x18 tank. I’m so excited to see him use it and if he does I’ll update the photos (if I can). The suction is impressive and the lid is slightly wonky but I’m not too upset. I probably wouldn’t purchase this at full price though $40 is a lot but if you really want it, go for it! Or wait for it to go on sale (I paid $20). The packaging wasn’t terrible but the cave didn’t exactly fit in the box. It stuck out a little but it was still taped down and everything.

Really like it

I actually really like this cave. I wasn’t expecting styrofoam but it makes it light and easy to mount on the glass. My gecko is still small so hasn’t gone in it
