This has 2 three cup bowls but only one 6 cup container. So how does that work? Is the 6 cup divided? Food vs water? Or 6 cups water or food and carry the other separate?

The Pet Feeding System can be used as you like, you can use either cup for food or water. If you are using for multiple dogs you could use both for water or food.

The label says hand wash only. Not dishwasher safe then?

The colored bowls are dishwasher safe, but the clear plastic container is not. Wash the clear plastic container by hand.

Geriatric travel option

We take frequent short trips with our Bichon. She is a great traveler but does not like the no spill bowls for some reason only known to a Bichon. This travel “mug”

We take frequent short trips with our Bichon. She is a great traveler but does not like the no spill bowls for some reason only known to a Bichon. This travel “mug” is perfect. She drinks bottled water poured into one bowl and we can keep crunchies stored in the “mug” for the other bowl.

Great travel solution

I was using ziplock bags for the kibble & a collapsible silicone bowl to feed my puppy. Well she could smell her food & try to get in my purse. When it was time

I was using ziplock bags for the kibble & a collapsible silicone bowl to feed my puppy. Well she could smell her food & try to get in my purse. When it was time to feed her, she would end up knocking over the bowl. Then after she finished eating, I’d rinse the bowl then give her water. It wasn’t working for us anymore. Then I found this. The clear canister holds enough kibble for 2-3 days which my pup can’t smell in my bag. The colored ends are 2 separate bowls so now she can have water & kibble at the same time. So far I’ve used it a few times & it’s worked out great. Summer is here so now I can take this & have enough for a weekend trip.

Perfect for travel

Great invention. Just wished there were instructions on how to take it apart. I figured it out but was nervous taking off the handle in case I did something wrong

After I took it apart once, it was easy to take apart and put back together. It worked well. The bowls are good size and sturdy.
