Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time. 1. Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days. 2. Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days. 3. Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days. 4. Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

husky-poodle has always had a sensitive stomach and it took 6 months or more to find a combo that he ate without having mushy diarrhea and or vomiting. He's also a bit on the finicky side. Saw a promo for this and the ingredients were similar to what we had been feeding him at almost half the cost. I initially got a small bag and slowly, over a 2 week period, increased the amt of food. No sickness at all and he can't wait to gobble it up! I'm sold on it and so is my poosky! :-)

My 2 puppies are also on this food my female eats this through birth of her litters and so with nursing the new borns through mamas milk eats this and at 3-4 weeks old starts on this food. I mix mamas and Babies food with this chicken flavored with canned chicken breast packed in water and use the chicken water to soften the babies food they do excellent with this mix. This gives them an excellent start to life.

I switched to this brand December of 2024 after doing quite a bit of research and reading feedback from other pet owners. My pittie has horrible skin and digestive, since switching to this brand things have somewhat calmed down for him. He is still extremely gassy and itchy but it seems to have given him somewhat of some relief. The bag I ordered in December though has made him extremely sick. He's had several days of diarrhea. I initially I thought he may have gotten into something in the back yard, but after having him fast for a few days and giving him bonebroth and pumpkin. His stomach settle down. Then I slowly reintroduced his food, after a day and a half he was right back to having diarrhea. This is extremely concerning. He's 8.5 years old. Thankfully he's still drinking plenty of water and not lethargic.

The lower protein and fat is good for PingPing who is a little on the fuller side of being a MaltiPomPoo. It is a good value. Hint: sprinkle a little dry cultured buttermilk powder on it. My pack love it that way.

2 of my 3 huskies lost weight on this food. I switched because their old food had gotten too expensive and the ingredients in this one looked really solid. Problem

Problem is, they didn't need to lose weight. My boy husky got so skinny I decided to start supplementing him with peanut butter and rice and switched off this food. They liked it a lot, I just worry that it's not meeting their nutritional needs. It's not certified by any of the big names in pet Nutrition.
