Problem with "Best Buy" date

I would have given this product 5 stars if Chewy had sent me a fresh bag. However, I rec'd an old package in a black bag with only 2 weeks left on the freshness

I would have given this product 5 stars if Chewy had sent me a fresh bag. However, I rec'd an old package in a black bag with only 2 weeks left on the freshness date. I talked to customer service both at Chewy as well as Get Joy about this and will be getting a refund (I hope) from Chewy. The manufacturer does not recommend feeding this beyond the date so If people want to try this out perhaps they should wait until the warehouse can correct this issue. Great product otherwise and my puppy loves them. I would like to order more in the future but only if I can be assured that I won't receive an old product!

It’s also packed with vitamin A for his eyes and vitamin B12 for healthy skin and coat. He really enjoys the taste, which makes it easy to give him every day. These are little dried up cubes that you can either give as a treat, or soak in a bit of water to moisten and add on top of regular dog food. Both of my dogs (chocolate lab and chihuahua) loved them either way. They smell like food (not artificial or chemical smelling), and the dogs never even hesitated when I offered the treat—dry or wet. Big winner!

We have two large German shepherds and they really liked them with no aggravation to their sensitive stomachs. They do have a strong meaty smell that was a little unpleasant to the human noses, but was not a problem at all for puppy noses.

My dogs LOVE these. Rewarding them with treats reinforces good behavior, gives them joy and brightens my day. The issue i've had is they only like heavily processed artificially flavored snacks and spit out healthy ones. With these GetJoy beef kidney bites, the two will race each other across the house when they hear the bag crinkle. Now that I've found a healthy treat they both love, I can give them out more often without feeling guilt or compromising their gut balance. This makes everybody's day better. We look forward to trying the support and endurance options.

The pieces are small and perfect size for my senior Jack Russell. My dog is super picky but he loves these treats. Price point is a little on the high side, but a great choice for a special treat!
