The amount of food your dog needs will vary depending on breed, activity level, age and climate. Use our feeding chart as a guide, adjusting the quantity fed to achieve your dog’s ideal weight. We suggest feeding twice a day, puppies more often. Provide fresh, clean water at all times. Regular exercise will help maintain a healthy body weight. Love, attention and tummy rubs should be given freely, as often as possible. Pregnant/lactating females: increase intake by 50%.
It’s important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at minimum, 10 days and could take upwards of 2 weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change. On day one, introduce 10% new food / 90% old food. Keep the food at this ratio for 2 or more days. Next, increase the ratio to 20% new food / 80% old food for 2 or more days. Repeat increasing in increments of 10% until you’re feeding 100% of the new food. If your pet experiences any kind of digestive upset during this time, try slowing down the process to let his/her digestive tract adjust to the new food. Some vomiting and/or diarrhea can be normal when introducing new foods as the digestive process and the naturally occurring bacteria your pet’s body requires is a complex and delicate system. If you experience any vomiting and/or diarrhea, be sure to reduce the amount of new food the next time you feed and overall, slow the whole transition period down even more.

Feeding Guidelines are simply a place to start. You should increase or decrease the amount you feed based on your pet’s activity level and weight.
All of our fresh meat and meat meal ingredients are sourced from animals passed fit for human consumption by the CFIA. The fruits and vegetables used in our recipes also come from the human food chain. We do not, however, claim that our ingredients are “human-grade”; once an individual ingredient leaves a “human-grade” processing facility and enters a “pet food” processor, the ingredient loses its “human-grade” classification.
A certified organic ingredient provides a guarantee that the ingredient has met strict government standards for how food is grown, handled and processed; using organic agricultural methods. Organic agriculture focuses on farming practices that encourage soil and water conservation and regeneration, and reduces pollution. Organic farmers use natural fertilizers and pest control methods to benefit the soil, plants and animals for a healthy environment.

My Dog Jack has a sensitive stomach and allergies. I had him on the Rachel-Rays dog food thinking it was a good brand. However, after doing some research, I read that it was not the best. This Go! Solutions Turkey Recipe had great reviews and I really like the ingredients. I was not sure how Jack was going to like it and I slowly incorporated this food into his previous food. He like this food so much he literally picked though all the previous food to find this stuff. Normally, I can just leave his food out and he will eat a little through the day. This food I have to portion control because he likes it so much. I also noticed his itching and sneezing has significantly decreased. For such a big improvement with this food and only a slighter upgrade in price, I think this food is really great for the value.
I have been having a difficult time finding a food that has no chicken and works for my girl’s conditions such as allergies, digestion sensitivities, etc. She loves this formula has high quality ingredients. I love that it has debones turkey as the first Ingredient and no fillers. Definitely relieved to find a kibble that works great for her sensitivities and is a descent price. No more picking up mushy poop as well.
I have a Doberman who has a really sensitive belly and skin too. I’ve tried so many foods within the past 6 years. This food is the only one that works. He holds weight on it and loves it. I wish I would have found if sooner
This food is limited and great for dogs if you know their allergy triggers. Unfortunately for us, neither of my dobies would touch it. I have a nearly 2 yr old and a 9 month old who normally eats everything you give her but not this, she went hungry before she would touch it. Overall though, its a good food!
Received package timely and in good condition, as usual with Chewy, thank you! My 12 year old Shih Tzu would not eat one bite no matter how I doctored it with food she loves. She wouldn't even eat around it. I will say she is a fussy eater. She is eating the Go! Carnivore but I am looking for something she will eat that has less protein in it due to her kidney blood level. Third try on something new and still looking.
finally a dry store food both my dogs eat with no issues, and the itchy ears have gone away
My dog was having digestion problems with the kibbles that he had been eating. Vet suggested that he may be sensitive to food with many ingredients. Switched to single ingredient, grain-free turkey recipe from Go! and supplemented with probiotic Advita. It has been working so far.
My gurl has a lot of allergy tests & this is one of the few foods she can eat.
It took me a long time to figure out that additives and especially wheat/gluten was what caused my dog's intestinal issues. This food is excellent if you want nutrition with limited ingredients.
My vet recommended this for our dog who is a little bit picky and a chronic grass eater/thrower-upper. She really likes it on its own, which is surprising because my dog rarely likes plain dry food. I mix it with a couple table spoons of pumpkin puree to help further with digestion, and to help her extra probiotic (recommended by the vet) 'stick' to the kibble, and she especially loves it! Even better, it's beginning to help a bit with the grass issue. I would highly recommend this food. The proof is in the empty bowl!
