The amount of food your cat needs will vary depending on breed, activity level, age and climate. Use our feeding chart as a guide, adjusting the quantity fed to achieve your cat's ideal weight. We suggest feeding twice a day. Provide fresh, clean water at all times. Regular exercise will help maintain a healthy body weight. Love, attention and tummy rubs should be given freely, as often as possible.
It’s important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at minimum, 10 days and could take upwards of 2 weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change. On day one, introduce 10% new food / 90% old food. Keep the food at this ratio for 2 or more days. Next, increase the ratio to 20% new food / 80% old food for 2 or more days. Repeat increasing in increments of 10% until you’re feeding 100% of the new food. If your pet experiences any kind of digestive upset during this time, try slowing down the process to let his/her digestive tract adjust to the new food. Some vomiting and/or diarrhea can be normal when introducing new foods as the digestive process and the naturally occurring bacteria your pet’s body requires is a complex and delicate system. If you experience any vomiting and/or diarrhea, be sure to reduce the amount of new food the next time you feed and overall, slow the whole transition period down even more.

I followed the feeding guidelines on your packaging, but my pet is too fat/thin. Why?
Feeding Guidelines are simply a place to start. You should increase or decrease the amount you feed based on your pet’s activity level and weight.
Are the ingredients used in Petcurean products “human-grade”?
All of our fresh meat and meat meal ingredients are sourced from animals passed fit for human consumption by the CFIA. The fruits and vegetables used in our recipes also come from the human food chain. We do not, however, claim that our ingredients are “human-grade”; once an individual ingredient leaves a “human-grade” processing facility and enters a “pet food” processor, the ingredient loses its “human-grade” classification.
What is an organic ingredient?
A certified organic ingredient provides a guarantee that the ingredient has met strict government standards for how food is grown, handled and processed; using organic agricultural methods. Organic agriculture focuses on farming practices that encourage soil and water conservation and regeneration, and reduces pollution. Organic farmers use natural fertilizers and pest control methods to benefit the soil, plants and animals for a healthy environment.
Where are your products made?
Petcurean dry pet foods are produced in Ontario, Canada. Our canned products are primarily produced in Ontario, Canada and secondarily at a plant in New Jersey, USA. Our SPIKE Jerky Treats are manufactured in Gainsville, Georgia and our SPIKE Treat Bars are made in Brampton, Ontario. All of the meat proteins, grains, cereals, fruits and vegetables in our GO! SOLUTIONS™, NOW FRESH™ and GATHER™ products are sourced from North America (as close to the production facility as possible)

Not good for my digestion
By MarshallYellowLab on Jan 18, 2021
Though the food was consumed with less fuss, it created gas. Doesn't look like it fits well with Marshall. Rating is purely based on how it worked on Marshall. Not product quality.

So far, so good...
By MSPLM on Dec 2, 2020
I like the formula, with healthy minerals, vitamins & amino acids. My 14 y/o golden seems to like mixed with her regular food (it has such a high protein content I don't give it straight to my senior) and she's very energetic since eating it.

Excellent food!
By Tiki on Aug 22, 2020
I switched my dog to this food about a year ago. My dog is very picky with kibble and she seems to like this one the most. I choose the senior formula over the adult version because it has less fat and slightly more fiber and she was nearing her senior years anyways. I watch Tiki’s diet closely to avoid weight gain because she has elbow dysplasia and a reconstructed rear leg. She just turned 7 and had bloodwork recently. I was told it was perfect and surprisingly exceptional for a 7 year old XXL dog. This food has not aggravated her allergies or sensitive stomach and I plan on feeding this food as long as it’s available. The customer service from Petcurean is excellent. Was feeding my 13 yr old pit mix another brand, she seem to be bored with it, with Go grain free, she needs no encouragement to eat

Our dogs love this.

Our dogs are 11 and 12. I wanted a dog food with ingredients suitable for their age. They love this, we switched from Fromm. They gobble it up.

Not for my dog
By Tyro on Apr 1, 2020
I have a 13 yr old goldendoodle, with a sensitive gut. I was hoping to find a source through Chewy to keep a supply uninterrupted. I read the reviews which influenced me to buy. My mistake. Mixed small amount with his current food, he loved it managed to pick around and ate every bit. He had the runs, up all night needing to go outside.too many vegetables and added ingredients that didn't agree with him. I hate this process of changing. I now have a full bag to get rid of. I shop at our small grocery they carry "Pure Harmony" pet food. I give him Salmon dry Cat food. High protein. My English Mastiff Loves This Food
By MadisonDixson on Mar 8, 2020
I have a very picky 10 year old English Mastiff and she LOVES this food. I was having trouble getting her to eat other brands especially as she's aged - but - now I'm buying her a bag every two weeks. Her vet and I are both so happy!

You can’t beat Petcurean
By Nayla on Jan 29, 2020
Our 10 year old Lab has been on Go , Canadian premium food since she was 10 weeks old. We just switched from Salmon or Duck to the Senior Carnivore type, she loves it! She is healthy, happy and just as playful as when she was a pup. We contribute this to the premium food she only gets.
