The amount of food your dog needs will vary depending on breed, activity level, age and climate. Use our feeding chart as a guide, adjusting the quantity fed to achieve your dog’s ideal weight. We suggest feeding twice a day. Provide fresh, clean water at all times. Regular exercise will help maintain a healthy body weight. Love, attention and tummy rubs should be given freely, as often as possible.

Transition Instructions

It’s important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at minimum, 10 days and could take upwards of 2 weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change. On day one, introduce 10% new food / 90% old food. Keep the food at this ratio for 2 or more days. Next, increase the ratio to 20% new food / 80% old food for 2 or more days. Repeat increasing in increments of 10% until you’re feeding 100% of the new food. If your pet experiences any kind of digestive upset during this time, try slowing down the process to let his/her digestive tract adjust to the new food. Some vomiting and/or diarrhea can be normal when introducing new foods as the digestive process and the naturally occurring bacteria your pet’s body requires is a complex and delicate system. If you experience any vomiting and/or diarrhea, be sure to reduce the amount of new food the next time you feed and overall, slow the whole transition period down even more.

I followed the feeding guidelines on your packaging, but my pet is too fat/thin. Why?

Feeding Guidelines are simply a place to start. You should increase or decrease the amount you feed based on your pet’s activity level and weight.

Are the ingredients used in Petcurean products “human-grade”?

All of our fresh meat and meat meal ingredients are sourced from animals passed fit for human consumption by the CFIA. The fruits and vegetables used in our recipes also come from the human food chain. We do not, however, claim that our ingredients are “human-grade”; once an individual ingredient leaves a “human-grade” processing facility and enters a “pet food” processor, the ingredient loses its “human-grade” classification.

What is an organic ingredient?

A certified organic ingredient provides a guarantee that the ingredient has met strict government standards for how food is grown, handled and processed; using organic agricultural methods. Organic agriculture focuses on farming practices that encourage soil and water conservation and regeneration, and reduces pollution. Organic farmers use natural fertilizers and pest control methods to benefit the soil, plants and animals for a healthy environment.

    Glad I switched

    By on

Had to change my dog from Science Diet which I have feed all of my dogs over the last 30 years. Patti started to show no interest in it and I had read that they did some changes (that I believe). Just smell it and you will know why the dogs don't care for it anymore. After reading the reviews on Go I changed and so glad I did. Now Pattie is waiting for her meals and her coat and stools are just what a dog owner looks for.Cost a little more but worth it.

First food that I don't have to mix with gravy or bacon grease. A ton of really great ingredients that's affordable.

I know this is a good dog food but our Scottie, Hamish would not eat it. No matter what we tried, he just turned up his nose.

    GO Great - Stay Great!

    By on

I was first impressed with the reviews on “GO” and decided to transition my Molly’s puppy food to adult food with GO. From the moment I opened the bag, I was again impressed with Molly’s excitement to try and steal a quick taste of this new food. The aroma to her was overwhelming to the point that she started dancing around me when I got her dish for her meals. Thirdly, I am so happy that the transition period is going so well with her digestion and that she has had no problems which was a huge concern the first nine months of her puppy life. Finally, I want to say how glad I am that she loves GO and that I am grateful that your food gives my 11+Month Cockerpoo what she needs to keep her I was first impressed with the reviews on “GO” and decided to transition my Molly’s puppy food to adult food with GO. Picky hound/beagle loves it

He seems to like this kibble more than others I've tried. I think he liked it better than Acana. I still put a topper on it, but it's all gone when he's done.

    Perfect For My Picky Water

    By on

I've gone through about 5 or 6 different brands of kibble to find a food that my dog likes and also does well on. I'm absolutely ecstatic to say that Go! Fit + Trim is that food. Great stool, gorgeous coat, clean teeth, boundless energy, you name it. I'm incredibly impressed and so is my best girl. We found our forever food!

    Yummy stuff

    By on Top 500 Contributor

Tried this food to change things up and my 2 love it. Solid BM's, no itching, no vomiting from my food sensitive boy. Usually my yorkie grazes on her food but this a.m she cleaned her bowl in minutes. Will likely be keeping this in their rotation.
