This food was recommended by a Chewy consultant after the Merrick Guy Health had been discontinued. My husbands service dog has a very sensitive stomach and after a few tries with other food, this was the closest to the Gut Health and there was basically no issues switching to this food over time. The recommendation from Chewy was spot on and very much appreciated. We were prepared for a week of stomach issues and instead had barely noticed the change. Thank you!!!!!

This food has been a hit! One of our dogs is allergic to everything and on a vegan diet so his brother has to eat the same food so the one with allergies won’t get

This food has been a hit! One of our dogs is allergic to everything and on a vegan diet so his brother has to eat the same food so the one with allergies won’t get into it. We got this for the healthier dog and started adding it as a topper to his vegan food. He loves it! We can even use the kibble as a treat for him he gets so excited for it. He does have thyroid problems and tends to gain weight really easy but no issues with this food at all. It also didn’t require any sort of transposition period for his system to get used to it. We will definitely reorder!

New Kibble

I have two older rescue dogs, and I've been looking for the right kibble/food combination for them as their needs start to change. Lucky for me, they are both good

I have two older rescue dogs, and I've been looking for the right kibble/food combination for them as their needs start to change. Lucky for me, they are both good eaters and their stomachs aren't terribly sensitive. This kibble is a bit smaller than their current (Orijen Senior), and I was worried that they might swallow it while but they chewed it! They took to it quite easily, and the transition hasn't bothered their stomachs since I switched a few days ago. The kibble also doesn't get stuck in the feeder toys which has been an issue with some of the larger or oval shaped kibbles. Overall this does the job and will probably earn a spot in the kibble rotation

The fact that it is well sealed and does not come in a huge 40lb-bag make the food taste better. And, of course, we started transitioning to this food by giving them small amount with the current food, so it makes him even easier to digest.
