Both of my dogs – an eight-year-old German Shepherd and a one year-old miniature doodle – love, antlers, and bones of any sort. I had a good guess that this antler was going to be popular, but I had no idea just how popular it would be. While the German Shepherd did eventually abandon his intention to hoard it for himself, the miniature doodle has claimed it for her own. Whenever she sees it, it is the only thing that she wants. It keeps her entertained and engaged, and it is clearly one that is going to last a long time. The pros – long lasting, natural, ethically harvested, low odor The cons – I really need to get a second one so that the German Shepherd doesn’t have to sit quietly in regret for not having one of his own. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a dog that is an aggressive tower and likely to destroy anything that isn’t made to last.

She only chewed it for a minute or two and then put it down, but that’s typical for her. I’m sure she will come back to it later! Antlers are healthy for dogs in so many ways, from dental care to nutrients like glucosamine for joints. I LOVE that this brand uses “naturally shed” antlers, meaning they don’t harm any animals to get these. They are a by-product of the natural process that the animal goes through. I would recommend the whole antlers for dogs that are tough chewers. Another great thing about antlers: no odor!

Okay for heavy chewers

I gave it to my teething GSD puppy. He didn't chew on it much. My 8-year-old GSD enjoyed chewing on it for an hour or two and then went in search of something else

I gave it to my teething GSD puppy. He didn't chew on it much. My 8-year-old GSD enjoyed chewing on it for an hour or two and then went in search of something else. No splintering or breaking, or tooth damage, so it appears to be safe. The dogs liked other chew toys better. It is still in the chew box and pretty much intact.

A home run for my dog

My dog could not wait for me to open the package. He could smell it through the box. He was so excited, and when I finally unpacked it, he grabbed it from my hand

My dog could not wait for me to open the package. He could smell it through the box. He was so excited, and when I finally unpacked it, he grabbed it from my hand and ran away in the house with it to chew in private. He carries it all around the house with him, will not put it down anywhere. He gets good chewing from this, and I am happy that it is a natural product that is not wood or plastic. The only thing I did not like about it was the odor, it smells like rot, but then again, it is animal tissue that waws at one point filled with blood, so it is to be expected. A home run with my dog.

This antler is a good quality chew. My dog is used to other chews that are not like this quality antler. My dog is 58 pounds and the medium was big enough for him

It measure a little over six inches and came in a reusable bag, which I also appreciate so I can put away drool free. I do recommend and think your pup would also.
