Egg Washer by Good Egg, Durable Silicone Egg Washer, Sea-Green Color I wish there was more packing in the box when this was shipped. . . I use an egg soak product, and the Egg Washer here is an OK companion, but not a replacement for me. The eggs, after they soak, can be washed with the Egg Washer if they have light dirty spots on them. The magic is for more soiled eggs. Two to Three pumps of the associated cleansing enzyme liquid into the Egg Washer, and usually a few quick turns take care of it. The many dozen rubbing – scrubbing nubs usually make quick work of lingering hen-house residue. Tenacious spots can be removed with the washer using a different technique. There are some little ridges along the sides of the top rim. You can bring these ridges to bear on the spots, and they act like scraper-scrubbers. Working with a heavy scrub may remove the bloom, using the ridges will certainly remove the bloom. Usage Note - The soap does make the eggs slippery, so wash over a bucket with some water to catch dropped eggs. Again, rinse well in warm water and let dry before refrigerating. This is said to be made of food-grade silicone. Turn it inside out and use dish soap and warm water to clean, cold water to rinse. I could not find out if they are dishwasher safe. Usually silicone is, but the higher heat of dishwashers may tend to deform these. I was using a similar product that has a large side and a small side. The large side fits most of the eggs just right, and the small side takes care of the smaller ends of the eggs. I have 2 and use one inside out for spot scrubbing (no ridges). The Good Egg Egg -Washer is too large for my smaller eggs from my hens but is probably just the right size for most eggs. It comes in 2 sizes, but I only received one, so I don’t know if it is the standard size of the large size. I wish they had some nubs patches on the outside instead of just the bars. Overall, I liked this product and gave it 4 stars. It works well, easy on the hands, lovely green color, easy to cleanse when done. and feels good in the hand. Missing fifth star is for being a bit on the pricey side and being on the large size for my Ladie’s eggs, I wish I received the other size too for comparison of Egg Washer to Egg sizes. I may buy the other size, but for now I will stick to my original washers. Thank You! : )

This is a cute, handy little scrubber. Perfect for my eggs. My chickens don't have very dirty eggs in general but this is great to be able to wash them before eating them. So far I'll eggs have fit.

this is awesome to clean eggs with a little water and some soap and eggs are super clean and gets all the Yuck that the birds bring into the nest off so glad I tried this and will most likely purchase a second one to have on hand for my egg cleaning great little product!
