It "pops". Also, the ring that it came with is apparently better quality than the ring that came with the dog license. My dog license fell off becaue the ring was permanently bent after attaching it to the collar, so I used the ring for this ID for the license tag. Go figure.

Holy wow. So the price was phenomenal and the item itself is so well made and beautiful! We read the reviews first and saw the only complaint was the ring attached to keep it on the collar. We bought some stainless steel, military grade rings to use instead and that made all the difference! We have not lost it and it is still so beautiful for our Millie girl! 100% recommend and for the price, getting your own seperate rings is totally worth it.

I ordered the GOTAGS Personalized Stainless Steel with Enamel Paw Design Bone Shaped Pet ID Tag in Charcoal (Small) for my puppy, Boone, and I couldn’t be happier! The tag looks even better in person, the charcoal color with the little paw design is adorable and classy at the same time. The engraving is clear and easy to read, and it feels like it will last a long time without fading. The stainless steel has a nice weight to it but isn’t too heavy for Boone’s small collar. It also came quickly and was packaged nicely. Boone’s been wearing it for a few weeks now, and it still looks brand new even after all his puppy adventures. I love that it’s both cute and durable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality, stylish ID tag for their furry friend!

Thick metal with lasting engraving, not like our previous tags that rubbed smooth and illegible easily. Not too large and not too heavy; really nice size. The hole

Thick metal with lasting engraving, not like our previous tags that rubbed smooth and illegible easily. Not too large and not too heavy; really nice size. The hole for the included split ring has ample metal surrounding it, unlike other tags. I have found tags that have fallen off my dog's collar because they have worn through the sides of that hole on those thinner tags in a couple years, just from swinging as my dog moves. I'm expecting these will last a whole lot longer.
