I've never encountered a substrate that worked so well for both my 3-toed box turtle and me. It lasts for weeks (especially with misting), absorbs poo & wee as well as water dish spills, does NOT get stuck in my little fella's "armpits", like orchid bark, coconut coir, shredded paper, moss and wood shavings all have in the past. I have tried pretty much every substate recommended by my vet over the past 30 years, but this is the first one that hasn't caused any sort of issue. He also really likes tearing the sod up a little and often digs a little snug for himself. He also occasionally nibbles the grass. :) Awesome product, highly recommended!
