What is the difference between the MAXX and the original?

The original GoughNuts Ring Dog Toy is for large breed dogs and measures 5 inches in diameter with a 1.75 inches cross-section. The MAXX GoughNuts Ring Dog Toy is for giant breed dogs, and it has a diameter of 6.25 inches and with a cross-secton of 2.1 inches.

do the colors matter the level of "toughness" or are they all the same just diff colors, besides the black n red spotted- is the green the same level of chew as the black? ect-

The chew level of the toy depends on the size; Small, Original to MaXX with MaXX being the strongest. The colors of each size are all the same strength.

Have the largest size, it's heavy and tough

Very tough yet soft enough to be enjoyable to chew. Staffordshire Terrier -Missy gets up in the middle of the night and you can hear her working on it. Some toys

Very tough yet soft enough to be enjoyable to chew. Staffordshire Terrier -Missy gets up in the middle of the night and you can hear her working on it. Some toys are tough and indestructible but don't have that chewing satisfaction, this does. I mean what good is it how tough it is if the dogs don't like it. My Missy loves it!

Durability with high chew shepherd

This is our 2nd doughnut ring toy for our Dutch shepherd. He is a chewer and the last one lasted 9 months! Love the toy has a safety feature where if they chew too

Indestructible but totally uninteresting to the Ruby dog

Ok so I bought this on the advice of a vet friend and Ruby just stared at it. So yeah she didn’t rip it to shreds but only bc she nothing interesting in it. If goughnuts produced a toy that she could hold with both paws and was textured, which seems to grab her attention then I would reconsider.

Not for my PJ

I bought this dog toy because PJ is a rather aggressive chewer. However, the toy is so heavy and chunky that he wanted nothing to do with it. He carried it twice
