Everything's made in their own state-of-the-art kitchen in Southern California with top-of-the line ingredients and no preservatives or by-products. Just Like Home Cooking
You might not have time to prepare home-cooked meals for your pets, but Grandma Lucy's is always up for the job. They take care in every step by choosing unique USDA meats for their freeze-dried foods and organic, human-quality ingredients for their delicious baked treats. No matter which recipe you feed your pup, you can rest assured that he's getting the best there is!
Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Food
Combines tasty tidbits of meat, potatoes, carrots, apples, blueberries and cranberries, and some recipes add bananas, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes.
These recipes start out with chicken, rabbit, goat, lamb or fish, plus wholesome chickpeas, a low-glycemic legume that's full of protein, folic acid and fiber.
Tasty chicken, turkey or fish is the main course, and quinoa is added as a gluten-free superfood that offers extra protein and amino acids.
This food helps increase your pet's nutrient intake with superfood ingredients like hemp hearts, coconut, kale and turmeric.
Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Treats
Choose your dog's favorite protein (or sweet potatoes, if that's his thing) with these single-ingredient treats.
Made to match the complete food formulas with five of the same ingredients, so you can serve it as an appetizer.
Bite-sized meatball treats that make satisfying snacks between mealtimes.
Organic, Oven-Baked Treats
These bakery-fresh treats are certified kosher and made from 100% organic, non-GMO ingredients. They're baked into a bear shape and loaded with fruits and vegetables.
Grandma's Special Tummy Remedy
Simple Remedy is just what the (doggie) doctor ordered for an upset stomach. It's the traditional recipe for nausea, vomiting and diarrhea that's easy to digest and gentle on the stomach. This formula is recommended by veterinarians as something you can feed your pup in place of his regular meal until he's back to normal. The recipe is simple—just boneless, skinless chicken breast meat and plain white rice. Add some water, and it's ready to serve!
Nothing Less Than the Best
To make premium pet food, you have to start with the best ingredients. Grandma Lucy's is committed to using GMO-free, human-grade ingredients that meet strict specifications. All ingredients are USDA-inspected and approved, including fresh meat, fruits and veggies from trusted farms. Over 87% is sourced from the US, and Grandma Lucy's maintains personal contact with all growers and suppliers.

With a name like Grandma Lucy's, you'd expect a company that's family-owned and operated—one that you can trust. And that's exactly what you'll find. Since 1999, the Shook family has created pet foods of the same quality and made from the same healthy ingredients as their own food. Their main taste tester was Lucy, an 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel who had no problem turning down food she didn't like. These recipes have passed the Lucy taste test, so you know your pets are sure to love them just as much.
We have an American Staffordshire terrier who is SUPER sensitive to foods and has extreme allergies. Grandma Lucy's are the only treats we give her and she handles them so well! I love how their ingredients are natural quality ingredients and you get such a big bag for the price. I also love how there is no meat protein source--which are her main allergies-- so they're perfect for her. And she loves them!

My lil guy has become a picky eater and I have to watch his protein and phosphorus levels in his food and treats. So the Grandma Lucy’s fills all the requirements and he loves them. Would eat them all the time if I allowed so. He loves the cranberry ones as well.

I give these to both my dogs a 18 lb. mixed breed and my 52 lb. Great Pyrenees puppy. They both love them. Perfect size for both and can be broken easily.

I've purchased Grandma Lucy's cookies in the past for my first dog she was picky and loved them. So when I saw them on chewy for my new pup I knew she would love them too. She does. These cookies are made without all the nasty stuff that so many put in their dog treats. When I was first introduced to this brand I read the ingredients and the sales person told me that people could eat them and would never know they were dog treats and encouraged me to try one. I did & it is true! These taste like blueberry muffins baked into a teddy graham type cookie. I also get the pumpkin treats for my pup. We can give her these treats as often as we want and know she is eating something that has no nasty ingredientsI've purchased Grandma Lucy's cookies in the past for my first dog she was picky and loved them. Dogs don’t eat them
on Aug 11, 2018
Ingredient lists organic cane sugar and organic cane sugar syrup—although I appreciate organic ingredients for my pets I don’t think inclusion of a lot of sugar is good for them. We have 3 dogs and none of them will eat these. This was not a good choice for us b

Grandma Lucy's is a new hit for our family. The pups love all of their treats, and we loge how healthy they are!
Good cookie treats ... but

They don't smell much like blueberries (however I didn't taste them). My girl will eat them, but she eats anything. They crumble easily, so they do not "travel" well. Best out of the bag at home. They just seem average.
Perfect for my dog

My dog is allergic to all meats and poultry, this is the perfect treat for her without any of that, & if I may say so myself.... they taste like teddy grahams
