Bungee cord is dangerously designed

I felt down using this product while walking my dog. I believe a bit of stretch made the dog felt free to run. The carrying case doesn’t sit well. It’s halfway flipping

I felt down using this product while walking my dog. I believe a bit of stretch made the dog felt free to run. The carrying case doesn’t sit well. It’s halfway flipping over because of the wide loops. I gave 2 stars for the length and the reflective stripes.

clasp failed after 1 month

I used this with my 50 pound Australian shepherd. We got it because she’s reactive with other dogs, and we wanted better control over her. The clasp attaching the leash to her harness broke after slightly over a month. This was terrifying and could have been catastrophic, as my dog was suddenly completely unrestrained running at another dog. Fortunately she isn’t aggressive (just excessive barking/lunging) or this could have been a lot worse. I wouldn’t recommend using this leash if your dog pulls at all, because it has a serious safety issue with the strength of the clasp.

Not metal nor durable. Don't buy

This leash worked great for a few weeks for our full sized doodle for long runs and errands a few times a week. Then we had him on it at the park and he lunged to see another dog. The attachment clip snapped right off and we discovered it isn't metal, but some kind of garbage plastic. We has to Jerry rig it for fhe rest of the day on our day trip visiting family because that was our only leash on the trip. Not cool. Don't skimp on the most important part. Glad it happened at the park and not at a street corner or out for a run somewhere unfamiliar. Don't buy.

My dog is well trained on a leash, i’ll first emphasize. This is my first month having a leash and my first week using it, it failed and broken three places. I am very fortunate that my animal didn’t go into the street and this didn’t result in something more seriously life-threatening. More importantly, I reached out to customer service and while they offered me a refund, they seemed robotic and unwilling to acknowledge the seriousness of this defect. I asked what the protocols were in situations like this and was getting very canned responses. Beware of getting leashes from this website it’s a matter of your dog life or death.
