Does this work for double-pane glass doors?

It will depend on how thick is the gap between the two glasses. The Ultra Clear Pet Door can only be installed on screen or glass with 0-0.63 inch thickness. If the gap is thicker than this, the Super Tough (0-50mm) or Deluxe Aluminum Pet Door (0 - 70mm). Remember that double-glazed glass is designed to have a tight sealed air inside the gap to minimize heat and noise. Putting a hole to install a pet door could loose that seal. We also recommend seeking a professional glazier's advice for the installation.
