My dog loves the taste, begs for more, but only gets a half serving twice a day. Licks the bowel each time. Other flavors are great too!

Decent list of ingredients, with chicken and vegetables at the top, and a smattering of supplemental vitamins, minerals and a few preservatives. Once opened though, my happiness waned. The broth/gravy is fine, maybe on the thin side. The shredded chicken comes out in one big clump ball. When you start breaking it up, the smell of it all hits you. As canned pet food products go, this is the worst smelling I’ve come across. Obviously our black lab mix found it delightful, but on our walks she’ll try to eat odd items on the side of the road, so her judgement is clearly compromised. I’m aware the food needs to be appetizing to the pet you’re feeding it to, but if it’s so off-putting to the person opening the can, it’s not worth having as your longterm food choice. This is just my own opinion though, others may not find the smell as nauseating.

Seems like good limited ingredients, not full of veggies instead of meat like a lot of canned stews are.. low in carbs which rounded off to 5 carbs per can, that part is good. The calories however really are on the low side, only 326 per can. great if you have dogs under 35-40lbs i suppose but, not so great for bigger dogs or active dogs that need way more than 326 cals a day. So for most of us, at current cost, i gather this will be more of a topper/mix-in with other foods, that is what we did. Am dividing one can between our two GSD’s., i probably could cut it down to 1/4 each really given how packed the can was as see in my pic.. i do have one issue with an ingredient in this, the smoke flavor really shouldn’t be in pet foods, another unnecessary ingredient to me. Food is made in Thailand. Overall good quality, the split can did not make either of my dogs sick, even the one that is not suppose to have chicken.. the other boy enjoyed the rest of the cans which lasted 2 days each for him.
