It's ok.
This helps my vegan dog keep the rashes to a minimum. I really would love to feed him just homemade real food, but this ensures that he gets the required nutrients, so I mix it with homemade or vegan canned when I don't have time to whip up a batch of homemade. He doesn't really care for it unless it's mixed with something to add flavor.

Bringing my mature Staffie girl into the vegan lifestyle. She values her health, cares about the environment, and cares about other animals, so this option is great! She was not eating her other dry food very well - we were searching back and forth between sweet potato-salmon blend and turkey-rice blend of the same brand. I put this in her bowl, she walked over slowly, then sniffed, sampled, tail started wagging hard and fast, looked at me appreciatively, and then dove in to polish it off! To avoid scarf snd barf, I now put it into puzzle feeders we got for her right after we rescued her. They will slow her down until she realizes there is more rush, there will be more. Will be using this dry along with a canned vegan dogfood, and will also start making her vegan food myself. This will satisfy her need for crunch and also serve as backup when time is tight. Way vegan doggos!
Why peas and chickpeas?
Why are peas and chickpeas used in this dog food? These ingredients are not supposed to be heart healthy for dogs!

I research for best health for my dogs. NOW...ALL SENIOR dogs should be on PLANT BASED food. Halo VEGAN dog food answers all nutritional needs. Always my dogs have healthy poos & live long lives.
kiwi stopped eating
My puppy kiwi was eating this kibble, but the past few days refuses to eat any of it. Had to buy another brand of vegan dog food (vdog) and then she started eating again. So I wont be recommending halo Hopefully I can return since she will not eat it anymore.
Rocco’s Best Food
When I was ready to adopt my puppy, I knew I wanted him to eat healthy vegan food, I tried a couple until I found Halo! Rocco absolutely loves his Halo food and treats! He never misses a meal anymore and I have noticed a great improvement in his personality and energy. Thank you Halo and Chewy!
day one is promising
We tried this tonight and my picky eater seemed super excited about it, even the cat wanted in. I like the size of the pieces because they’re not too big so still very doable for chihuahuas. We will see if it helps my sensitive stomach one, but I am hopeful.
Finally found the perfect food for my dog.
Amazing!! My dog has very sensitive skin allergy related, where he was licking his legs to almost raw sometimes he bled, he also had a urinating issue where he won’t go and he gets cyst or little bumps which he only gets when he eats meat, and vdog food was good for him but he was still licking, then I tried whole earth that he wasn’t a fan of and he was still licking a lot. Also I have tried him on meat food too like cd urine because he has a urinating issue so the vet prescribed him that food and he was still licking and also it didn’t help alot with his urine issue and was getting larger bumbs on his skin, but I tried my best to figure this out and I tried halo the garden one and halo the ocean one, and the ocean one has been the best food for him it’s been about 3 months and he does not lick if he does it’s the amount of a normal dog licking. Highly recommend and i just added a half of zesty cranberry treat to his food and it fixed his urinating problem. Being vegan myself I know how food has effects on the body and there seems to always be a solution holistically and cutting out meat and dairy for sure has been the biggest game changer of my life, for both me and my dog.
She doesn't like it
bought this 2bags but she stopped eat it. Also dog had been tear on one side. But her tear starts on both sides when I feed her this food.
