I love this for my hamster, it’s well made, very durable and easy to clean. I really like the fact that it’s very safe for my hamster and her little feet. With this ball I no longer have to worry that her little feet will get caught in the slits on other balls I have purchased in the past. Trash the ball you currently have and save a trip to the veteran. This ball is EXCELLENT and SAFE.

Quality hamster exercise ball with locking handle

My favorite feature of the Happy Habitats Hamster Exercise ball is the locking handle. It keeps the lid from falling off and its great for carrying your small pet

My favorite feature of the Happy Habitats Hamster Exercise ball is the locking handle. It keeps the lid from falling off and its great for carrying your small pet around. Its well made out of sturdy plastic and it has multiple air holes. I use this for my 1.5 year old Syrian hamster for play time out of his cage. It takes him awhile to start rolling around in it and he doesn’t get very far. He prefers to just hang out in it and look around, but he's not the most energetic hamster. He is a larger sized hamster and he fit in it fine.

As with any ball you have to use caution. Balls if used improperly can cause harm or worse fatalities. Make sure they are not used in an area where the ball can fall somewhere down stairs or the like. Limit use to 5 or 10 minutes depending on temperature as these balls tend to warm up quickly. Make sure there are no chances of the ball being kicked. Most balls ventilation slits can cause limbs to get stuck causing injuries. This one has more vent holes and they are smaller limiting chances of injury. I do like the secondary lock on the lid unlike most balls. This one helps keep your mouse or small hamster safe without the chance of escape. If you use caution and follow proper safety measures this is the best ball to use. Make sure to size properly.
