I I have not found a dog yet that does not like them. And there is a good healthy treat and cook for their joints
I’m guessing most people looking at these have older dogs. Ours is almost 10. He’s getting a bit creaky. Teeth are fine but hips are nearing arthritic. These treats are great. Smell good, obviously tasty based on his response to them, easy to chew. They’re not long lasting (jerky really isn’t), but they’re a nice once-a-day treat, which is what we were looking for. And he’s had some pep in his step lately, so who knows? Maybe they’re helping!
The order came the following day ( wonderful ) It's a little too early to tell. I'm hoping the gluecosamine will help with my do's mobility.
Our little girl was the pickiest little princess ever and absolutely loved these!! She was deaf but someone always knew when we opened the jar with these in it. She was blind as well towards the end of her life but miraculously recognized her Chewy boxes when they came.
They seem to help my senior dog. I will order again!
Our dog is not a treat dog. Nothing seems to entice her....but these did. My niece buys a lot of things from you and she gave Whisper a Happy Hip. She liked it so I bought a bag for home. Thank you as always.
A visitor to our home (she brought her 16 year old dog with her) said she has been using your Happy Hips Jerky Chicken Recipe Grain-Free Dog Treats for at least 10 years (one treat both AM/PM). Sooooo I went onto your website and ordered 3 bags for friends who have similar-age dogs. Within 24 hours, one "mommy" of a 17 year old GREAT DANE sent me a videoclip showing her dog licking her chops!
These strips are not the consistency of jerky. I tried to tear pieces off for my elderly dog. The pieces are actually brittle. It's too hard for my dog to chew. There is also a desiccant pack inside the treat package. I have never seen that in any dry food or treats.
While the jerky pieces are a bit harder than other brands, my pup Reese (GSD/Lab mix) LOVES them. I don't know how much they truly add nutrition wise but its what he takes over any other treat right now.
My dog is bananas for these. An he seems to be moving better as well.
