My cats love sleeping and lounging on cardboard. Boxes, scratchers, etc. I bought two of these, thinking to maybe give one as a gift. The first day, two of my cats were each spotted napping on it, so I brought out the second one. How I've caught 3 of my cats alternately on the 2 beds. Definitely an upscale edition to the living room. And they can be flipped over to use the other side if they scratch this side too much.

I was skeptical since this scratcher was $30 but needed a good alternative to the cardboard and twine ones. All three of my cats were curious and within a day they had all tried this scratcher. Now a month later and it is their favorite spot to scratch. (My couch is thankful!) It is still in great shape and barely makes a mess. Our youngest kitty even likes to nap on it. He is 15 lbs and the picture shows that he fits onto the scratching pad. Large size and durable. Highly recommend!
