The shelled peanuts were not an immediate hit with the wild birds of my backyard at this time of year (November). I used them in my smart feeder and didn’t get any bird interest for a couple of days! I was surprised. I then added a little bit of another seed product in an effort to attract the birds. Then, as pictures show, we had red cardinals, blue jays and tufted titmouses show up. Also saw some house sparrows of course. I was expecting to see different birds but it wasn’t meant to be. The product packaging was convenient and the peanuts were easy to put in the feeder.
Very clean but did not attract the birds

At first glance, these peanuts seemed just like the ones that I buy from Wildbirds here in Austin. They are practically dust free and hardly any broken pieces which is good except it makes me curious as to whether the processing of the nuts was excessive. The nuts were an off shade of beige; not like they were bleached but something was different. I have seen one squirrel try to shimmy up the feeder to get some peanuts but it was too hard so I scattered some on the ground & I do think the squirrels & probably an opossum came by & cleaned up. I don’t know that I would buy these on my own but I was happy to give them a try. I guess I would need reassurance that this feed had not been processed with harsh chemicals.
And the Birds Went Wild!

Peanuts are a very popular item among our chickens. They see the bag and come running from all over the yard. We have four types of woodpecker that come to the feeders, and next to suet, the peanuts are their favorites. The crows also have a special dish where they get treats every morning--usually peanuts. The Happy Wings Peanuts were a hit with all three discriminating groups. These peanuts are whole, with the skins entirely removed. They look more like people food than bird food! The woodpeckers and nuthatches both flocked to the peanut feeder and chowed down. The pileated has yet to come to anything but the suet feeder, but I live in hope. Just to see one of those magnificent creatures who announce their approach from hundreds of yards off is such a delight. The 4-lb bag was quickly emptied, and if you have as many customers as I do, especially on these cold fall days in Maine, then a larger bag would be more practical. The final stamp of approval was given by our persnickety cat, who reached into the bag and snagged a few peanuts for herself.
Simple, But Great!

Simple, but great product, came packaged with care, and within 15 minutes of putting it outside there was a Blue Jay hanging out! A little pricey, probably just as good to get peanuts from the store, at least in a place like where I live where peanuts won’t grow.

I have eight pigeons and they’re very picky about their seeds and peanuts. I’ve tried several different peanut products before - some they liked, and others they weren’t interested in at all. But when it comes to these peanuts, they LOVE them so much!! I’m not sure what’s different about this product but they can’t get enough of it. I put out a cup of these peanuts for them every morning and it’s gone within a few minutes. They must be great quality!!

Unfortunately, the birds did not seem to like the peanut bird food. I poured the peanuts on top of sunflower seeds in the feeder and the sunflower seeds were eaten, but peanut bird food remained. I left them there for a couple of days, but were never eaten.
Clean feed, but double bagged.
Very clean feed! Will help keep bird feeding area clean. Smells fresh. My big complaint is that it is double bagged... Seems like a waste of plastic to me. The birds

The peanuts are too large for my bird feeder, so I put some on the ground for the squirrels and chipmunks. They love the peanuts. The peanuts came double bagged
