More durable than most, not perfect
This bed is not chew-proof, as others have said, but it is dramatically more chew-resistant than any other bed I've been able to find for my puppy so I'm not mad at it. It withstood all her chewing at first, but she realized at some point that she could gnaw holes in the seams inside the corners pretty easily and proceeded to open them all up. The outside parts that a dog is more likely to chew on, especially the piped outer seams, lasted through her chewing very well so whether or not this bed can resist your puppy is going to depend on how they chew things I think. The fabric in general is very tough and could probably make a decent outdoor bed as well. Its durability with washing is the only real downside to me. Re-reading the description I think they mean for you to only wash the middle cushion and not the outside bolster part, which is weird. It has two issues with washing: 1) if you do have a hole in it, the filling is wispier than the normal synthetic batting and a lot more will come out and coat everything else in the machine, and 2) the little non-skid nubbins on the bottom come off extremely easily and also coat everything else in the machine. The filling is a mixed bag because the weird texture makes it come out more in the wash, but it's also way more resilient and fluffy than any of our other dog beds, so all in all I think it's fine. The only bit that I really don't like are the non-skid nubbins coming off everywhere.
Fluffy and soft!
I just received this so I cant rate durability or how easy it is to clean. it comes shrink wrapped and inside another plastic bag. very well packaged. its was fun to open when the cacuum seal was broken. it took a bit to fluff it uo but that was easy! I had barely put it down when two of my cats hopped in. blue would be best for all my black and white kitties. hides the hair! Enjoy ! its a really nice product.
not chew proof enough
I really like the look of this bed, and my dog definitely thinks it’s comfy but she also chewed a hole through one of the corners ten minutes after I unpacked it. It’s good quality but it’s definitely not “chew resistant.”
Best bed for cats
I love the color because it matches my wall paint. The bed is easy to move from place to place and is a comfortable slot for my cat to relax and sleep after a long play day
Strong bolster cat and dog bed
I bought this bed for my dog recently.it was easy to install it following the instructions provided.its easy to wash since one can use washing machine,this was the interesting part and the fact that it cannot slip on slippers surface .my dog has its comforts sleeping zone from this bed.i love it
Weird smell
The bed's construction is sound, and the material seems resilient enough. However, after having it out in the room for months, it continues to off-gas some manufacturing agent. My dog enjoys napping in the bed, but smells of plastic, like a new shower curtain afterwards. Whatever it is, it can't be good. I'm buying a replacement from a different manufacturer, and will relegate this to an outdoor bed, maybe. Or, I'll just pitch it since I don't think it's fair to pass this issue along to another owner / animal.
My dog's new bed
My dog loves playing outside then comes jumping on the couch with those dirty paws .Well lucky for me I got this bed from happycare textiles which is comfortable and easy to wash and now I am not stressed about cleaning the couches because this bed is even machine washable and my dog gets to lean on it like the rest of us while watching . I really love this bed
Strong and comfy cat and dog bed
I bought this product for my dog last week.delivery was fast ,they helped me in installation.my dog does not leave this bed.it loves sleeping on this bed .it's easy to clean and very affordable.am really impressed with this product
Definitely NOT CHEW-PROOF
I have used this for 12 days. I’m hopeful that CHEWY will issue full replacement or refund.
Rip at the seam
Had this for 2 weeks and it rip at the seam. My dogs have had beds that last over a year. Not recommending it.
