HappyCare Textiles Rectangle Bumper Bolster Cat & Dog Bed, Gray

It is the perfect size for my 40# border collie who likes to curl up and stretch out next to the stove. This sits on top of an orthopedic bed that has a flat canvas cover. So adding this on top gave my girl a place to snuggle into and very soft on her body. The bottom is a bit thinner than I'd like to guard against the cold of the floor on its own. She likes shapes that have sides on them to give her a barrier to lie against. I got the size that is washable for easier care. I will probably get another one because my other dog is also using this space. He had not done that prior with the other bed I had there. I don't want my princess dog to have to compete in the least with the younger dog. Plus he deserves something soft too!

The dog bed was great for 2 days until he ate it. No fault of the bed. The bed was thin and not as structured as some of the more expensive beds which is why I gave it 3 stars.

The bed is alright. I was expecting a "get what you pay for" kind of deal. The bumper bolsters aren't near as high as pictured online. It's fairly flat but decent for a lighter dog or a dog that gets too hot on fluffier beds. The back has like a water proofing that makes a swooshing sound.The problem I have is when you wash it. The back also has little. Anti slip beads on it. But when it gets washed, the beads get everywhere. The washer, the dryer, in the fibers of the bed. Not something I wish my puppy to be able to eat. It's not the worst bed but it's not one I would recommend if you can afford something safer.
