I bought this item by mistake I guess. I thought Jack would like it for his bed in our bedroom, but he prefers to sleep on the bed on top of his cat towerin the living room. He walked across the sherpa bed once and was startled by the crinkle sound, cried once, jumped off immediately and never went near it again. It’s a perfectly good bed, just not for my Jack. I already donated it to a local cat shelter.

I knew this edgy, slightly nervous rescue kitty would love a sherpa bed and I found this one on Chewy. It's on "her side" of the davenport, which is shared with our other kitty. She sleeps soundly in it, purrs and kneads, and hisses and spits only very rarely now. What a great cat calmer!

The sides aren't much higher than the base of the bed and look nothing like the pic. This "bed" has more of the consistency of a blanket - very floppy and squishy without any stability. This is just junk. I'm going to try and air it out so I don't have to return it. Please don't make the same mistake I made. Choose something better.
