#chewytogether Do you want your budgies to have better seeds. This brand is amazing. Not only did my 11 budgies emptied this bag within the week. Over time using it along with my higgins. Their plumage is gorgeous. Similar to when you give dogs raw their coats are gorgeous. Def. Buy it.

I am a proud owner of two Budgies and one Parakeet, getting them to eat healthy is hard as they are very picky eaters. I was delighted that my entire flock love's the Hagen Budgie seed, as it is a high quality and nutritious seed that contains essential vitamins and minerals for their health. Balanced nutrition is important for all birds, especially small birds like Budgies and Parakeets because they eat small amounts of food, it is very important to make sure that the seed you feed them is a high quality seed packed with natural grains and seeds and completely free from artificial colors and flavors. This high quality seed comes in a 3 pound bag and is priced very reasonably, making it extremely affordable and a great choice. I bought this because there was no sugar in it. There is one ingredient in it that scares me a little when I looked it up pyridoxine hydrochloride...sounds like a form of b6 but look it up it’s a little scary what it is used for idk...I only gave 4 stars because this only comes in 6LB bags. I only have one parakeet and a very bad back and had to get help to life this into the house. I guess I will share this with my outdoor doves so it doesn’t spoil.

No pellets!

I like that this food has none of those pellets added to it because they go to waste as none of my birds will eat them. This food is only an assortment of seed

Personally I haven't had any issues with my parakeets not eating a seed mix I've provided and I am happy to report they're happily munching away through this bag
