Had high hopes

Although this is a great product and it was recommended to give this to my Bird in hopes to help him gain more weight but after 4 attempts to feed it to him he wouldn't

Although this is a great product and it was recommended to give this to my Bird in hopes to help him gain more weight but after 4 attempts to feed it to him he wouldn't touch it and ended up just throwing it away. If he wouldn't eat it freely, I didn't want to force feed him.
