The length of the fur or thickness of the coat does not change the efficacy of the collar, as the medication is absorbed through skin cells present on the skin. This collar can be used on any length coat/fur.

I was trying to cut a little cost and thought I'd try these. The first thing I noticed was that I really didn't care for the feeling of the collar material. I also

I was trying to cut a little cost and thought I'd try these. The first thing I noticed was that I really didn't care for the feeling of the collar material. I also was skeptical of how well they would stay fixed around my dog's necks. The collar is a lot like a zip tie. It laces through a couple loops and has ridges that catch to hold it on. Except the collar is flexible, and there is no rigid "lock", so they can (and do) come off. Still, no ticks or fleas! I think I will try a different collar next time though.

They USED TO work! Not anymore!

I've used these with my dogs for years with no problems, but I guess the recent batch are duds. Not only did these fail to repel or kill fleas (even after a bath

I've used these with my dogs for years with no problems, but I guess the recent batch are duds. Not only did these fail to repel or kill fleas (even after a bath with fresh collars afterwards), but there was still the odd flea or two chilling on my dogs ear, alive and well, right near the collar!! I'll never use these again.

Not for my dogs

I have always used seresto for my dogs but I bought these thinking maybe they would be a cheaper alternative, right out of package there was a strong odor to each

I have always used seresto for my dogs but I bought these thinking maybe they would be a cheaper alternative, right out of package there was a strong odor to each collar I thought maybe it would go away after they wore them, it didn’t,my dogs have wore these for a week and all they do is scratch at the collar they never have done that with seresto so I figured they must irritate there skin so I took them off and just ordered the seresto collars
