These are cheaply made rawhide bones. I wouldn't even call it pressed rawhide. As other reviews note, these bones easily start to separate and there are small and large pieces that come apart...not from chewing, the bones just start to separate with very little chewing. My dog nearly died and I am not being overly dramatic here. A large piece got lodged somewhere in her esophagus. My dog panicked and couldn't get air. I tried to intervene by putting my fingers down her throat to get it out. In the struggle, she finally got it swallowed but the ordeal must have been a good 60 seconds. My dog started crying and was in shock afterwards. I know there are recommendations not to give dogs rawhide for these reasons, but this brand is horribly unsafe, and you should absolutely stay away from this rawhide!
