    The Creme de la Creme

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

It is so heartening to see the way my big, wonderful, outdoorsy orange tabby consumes this. He eats it thoughtfully, completely savoring each mouthful. I would pit this recipe against every other premium, expensive, exclusive cat food out there and it would be a top winner. Soft but not mushy, it mashes with a light touch into the natural juice that surrounds it and has the most superb aroma. It deserves to get noticed.

Sounded purrfect but cats did not agree

    By on

I really wanted to make this our brand but unfortunately my three kits did not agree. Only my ravenous scavenger would eat this and with not nearly the gusto I am used to seeing. Ingredients and nutritional analysis seemed to have all the right things but nothing is good if they won't eat it.

Food was runny and lacked volume to satisfy my kitty.

    Expensive Food

    By on

I paid a lot of money for this and my 3 indoor cats won't eat it. They won't even eat it mixed with another cat food. I'm really disappointed.

My Cat Loved This Food, BUT...

    By on

My Maine Coon loved this food, but gave him diarrhea. With a long-haired cat...well, you can imagine the clean-up. I tried 3 times, with a couple of days in between, with same result. He has never had this problem with another food, so I would be interested to know which ingredient caused it. I gave a couple of cans to a neighbor, and her cat reacted like-wise. Too bad, as my cat LOVED the taste.

    So far, it's five stars!

I just re-ordered this product (Health Extension Grain-Free Chicken and Duck cat food) because the first case went over so well with my two young cats. I initially placed an order because the listed ingredients and percentages appeared healthy and balanced (which, of course, doesn't matter if the cats don't like it.) In our case, Sasha and Roux have been very enthusiastic about this food, and I am enthusiastic about the ingredients, so it's a win-win! I also appreciated that this pate-style food appeared consistent down to the last can (which I always look for because I think it indicates good quality control in a product--at least in the packaging phase). Anyway, at this point, I would recommend I just re-ordered this product (Health Extension Grain-Free Chicken and Duck cat food) because the first case went over so well with my two young cats. Amigo seems to like it so it's a good alternative for his urinary tract food
