You can even trace each ingredient that goes into Health Extension recipes right on their website.

American-Grown Produce

Whole food ingredients grown on American farms provide nutrition you can rely on. Health Extension has a 3 Step Check Point System. All ingredients are tested prior to arriving at their plant to ensure quality and safety. This includes things like toxins, heavy metals, pathogens etc. No ingredient that does not pass these series of strategic tests is permitted into the facility. The ingredients then go through an additional series of testing after being placed in a holding container immediately before being used in the recipe itself. Lastly, the final product goes through a series of additional testing to confirm the quality of the finished product.

There is no mention of GMO status of the ingredients. Are they used?

Health Extension recipes are prepared without any artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives, and are 100% GMO ingredient free.

Duck-Crack for dogs

Wow! I've never seen the kids go crazy over a food like they do this one. They act like they're starving, so I have to measure it out in small increments or they would eat the whole bag up in a week.

Did something change?

I have been feeding this for quite some time now and suddenly after it was out of stock frequently my dogs are all turning their noses up at both this flavor and another one. It seems like something may have changed in the product in the last few months.

Good food but not good for my dog, very hardv kibble

I really like Health Extension foods and decided to give this a try. My senior dog was recently diagnosed with cancer and she's losing weight. She's become a picky eater so I bought the one pound bag to try. I gave her a small amount and she really struggled to chew it. The kibble are really hard! She sounded like she was going to break her teeth and she eventually stopped eating it and now refuses it. I think she would of eaten it if the kibble wasn't so hard. Other than her not being able to eat it I still really like Health Extension.

Picky dogs love

Our first German Short hair was allergic to every thing from a seed & poultry so No grains what so every & no poultry , we had him tested 4xs to be sure , it took us & him 4yrs to finally find a dog food besides a raw diet that he could eat and then the dog food company sold out to the P company & they changed the food which included chicken fat which we fed him before & fur loss & red blotches every where . We than fed him Zig till his death but kept all our other dogs on grain/poultry free food , but our girl gets bored & stops eating after about 1yr , so see this & seen awesome ingreds so gave a try so far all dogs eat it & chow it down , fingers crossed .

My picky eater loves it

Trying new approach with my old dog Lola. She has gone grain free after eating only Iams her entire life. She's a very picky eater and sometimes skips a day of eating altogether. Lola is a Schnauzer approaching 12 years old and is really slowing down. Am hoping this new approach is not too late in her life. Tried Blue Wilderness first, she likes Health Extension better!

Our vet recommends this brand and sells only this brand

Our vet recommends Holistic Health Extension and our two dogs gobble it down. I serve it with an organic turkey dinner topper and a nutritional supplement. They are both in great shape.
