This should never be in dog food. My dog was up 3-4 times in the night as I fed him this at evening meal. He would stay out for 30 minutes or more until called him, ONLY when feeding him this food. I had to trash it at nearly $90 of cost. It's not worth feeding to my dog or any dog. Stay away from pork for dogs. Shame on this company

Something changed in this food. Not for the better either. My little one was fine on an older bag. The new bags that I ordered, this one and the small bites, just about killed her! I did notice at the bottom of both bags, there was a sticky substance on the outside to the point of needing a paper towel. The food was noticeably different in color as well.

Our dog has never gotten tired of Health Extension dog food. The ingredients are thoughtful and familiar, and every morning she does a dance as I scoop her kibble for breakfast. I was worried when I introduced homemade food in the evenings that she would no longer want the kibble (which is so quick in the mornings!), but she eats it all the same! Buffalo and Whitefish seems to be her favorite flavor.

Fresh ingredients and my dog loves the whole line of health extensions. I did excessive research on dog food and this seems to work the best. My pet has stomach issues so this helps with those stomach issues. She devours the bowl, which other kinds she did not. I either buy the Buffalo or I buy the salmon. Will continue to give high marks to this company.

This looks like a good kibble option with some protein variety. Unfortunately my picky standard poodle went on hunger strike and refused it for 2 days. Eventually she ate a little, but she still is picking out other kibbles from amongst this one. Normally anything with fish is a win, and she likes beef pretty well, so I figured the buffalo/whitefish would be welcomed. I don't think there's anything wrong with the food, the rating is simply based on the dog's refusal to consume it. We rotate through a selection of kibbles to keep the variety and novelty up. This one, unfortunately, isn't going to wind up added into the cut.
